SAM COUPE PRESERVATION PROGRAM

Beitrag von Ranma_Simon » 27.02.2016, 19:29

I'm Simon from Italy.

I have started 2 years ago Sam Coupe preservation program.

We are preserving all Sam Coupe Original Floppies in his original format.

In less than 1 year we have preserved more than 150 commercial stuff.

If someone would like to join and dump something of his Sam Coupe stuff is welcome ;)

If you can't work on it, receive all your stuff and make an independent dump and resend it back.

Let us know what you think about it.

Best regards to all Sam Coupe Deutch friends from Italy.

A very big hug to all.

Hello Simon,

a good idea indeed! But please understand that i would like to hear more about your work, i have some questions.

You are collecting physical Disks with SAM programs, and want to preserve them , like a museum?
Do you make Diskimages that are available, or is the software itself stored in any other storing media? Or do you just simply preserve the Disks for as long as possible?

I have some programs for SAM on Disks, some as original ones. But i will be honest: to send them to you so they stay in a dry disk-friendly space is not really stunning.

Please forgive if i understand this completely wrong, i will hit my english teacher for this :-)

I'm collecting Physical Disks and I'm preserving now personally (collection) and then I make all Images with Sam Disks.

You can also dump it by yourself and share with me your work, or can't you?

For ship some Floppies don't worry: all works well, in 2 years of full preservation, nothing arrived damaged ;)

Best regards.

Please post .... my e mail in the Sam post
So who wants can contact me
Simone Voltolini : simone.voltolini@tin.it
I can share my db folder to others too

Also letztlich ein Austausch von SAM Software, bitte setzt euch bei Interesse direkt mit Simon in Verbindung.

Viele Grüße von Dieter
